Roger Waters:
"I am very exited about going back into arenas. I always loved rock and roll theatre. In the mid seventies was when it started really. And that’s when rock and roll started to move into hockey arenas and basketball arenas. And it came apparent to a few of us that putting four or five little blokes on the stage, four hundred yards away from the blokes sitting in the back seat was not enough. And that we needed to create a new form of theater that fulfill auditoriums that were not auditoriums but that were ice hockey or basketball arenas. That is what some of us trying to do over the last forty or fifty years. And to some extend have succeeded and that is what we will be doing again with the new show - with new ideas, new concepts and new architecture, new projections - a completely new thing. - It will be great"
Ich habe Rock and Roll Theater immer geliebt.
